IAEA - March 2016 Board of Governors

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of governors is being held from the 7th until the 11th of March in Vienna. It will examine a series of reports, including the Nuclear Safety Review for 2016, and the Nuclear Technology Review for 2016. Furthermore, the question of capacity building in Latin America and the Caribbean with regards to the response to the Zika virus, as well as that of the project to renovate the IAEA laboratories in Seibersdorf (ReNuAL) will be examined.
The debate was opened by an introductory statement to the Board of Governors made by IAEA Director General, M. Amano.
